German-based shipowner Elbdeich Reederei is poised to oversee the construction and management of a fleet of 1250 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) vessels, with the expected delivery date set for 2026. This monumental contractual agreement encompasses the confirmed order of two vessels, while it also leaves room for the potential lease of two additional ships, highlighting the scale and ambition of the endeavor.
