Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd. (TRIL) has announced a significant win, securing orders worth Rs 726 crore (approximately $86.6 millions) from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO). The orders are for the supply of crucial electrical infrastructure, including auto transformers and bus reactors.

According to a regulatory filing released on Monday, the substantial contract is slated for completion within 18 months from the issuance of the Letter of Intent (LOI). This project will bolster Gujarat's power transmission network, contributing to its growing energy demands.

"Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd has secured orders amounting to Rs 726 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd," the company stated. The total order value includes Goods and Services Tax (GST).
