Trammo Completes Purchase of Lemm Corp

On July 1, 2024, Trammo, Inc. disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary, Trammo Terminals, Inc., has purchased Lemm Operations, LLC (“Lemm Corp”). Lemm Corp, established in 1963, has built a strong reputation as a trusted operator and provider of engineering and terminal management services to major chemical facilities across the United States.

Trammo has maintained a longstanding collaboration with Lemm Corp in overseeing its chemical storage and terminal operations. Since 1989, Lemm Corp has managed the physical operations at Trammo’s anhydrous ammonia terminals in Meredosia, Illinois, and since 2015 in Niota, Illinois. Additionally, since 2018, Lemm Corp has overseen operations at Trammo’s nitric acid production facility in North Bend, Ohio. Drawing from this extensive and successful partnership, Trammo views the acquisition as pivotal in advancing its strategic goals for facility management, ensuring ongoing safety and security for its terminal operations.

Apart from its role as Trammo’s sole terminal operator, Lemm Corp also oversees operations at facilities across the United States owned by leading chemical firms. Lemm Corp boasts extensive expertise in handling the reception, storage, transloading, and shipment of diverse commodities, including anhydrous ammonia, sulfuric acid, sodium cyanide, acetone, methanol, and methyl methacrylate. The company adheres strictly to the highest safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with U.S. regulatory and Homeland Security requirements.

Trammo CEO Edward Weiner expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "We are pleased to announce this strategic addition that enhances Trammo's core businesses. We anticipate the continued support from the Lemm Corp team in managing our current ammonia and nitric acid facilities, as well as in expanding our operational footprint."

For more than six decades, Lemm Corp has delivered engineering and terminal management services to major chemical facilities across the United States. Presently, Lemm Corp oversees operations at eight chemical storage facilities nationwide.
