In a significant development, the Titan-Polymer plant, situated within the Moglino special economic zone, has successfully completed the commissioning phase for its second production line dedicated to the manufacturing of BOPET (biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate) films. Kirill Neretin, the General Director of the Titan-Polymer plant, conveyed the achievement, stating, "At the moment, the company has completed commissioning work on the second line, we have reached a stable production process and are increasing capacity. There are orders for various film thicknesses from 8 to 35 microns."

The activation of the second production line marks a pivotal milestone for the Titan-Polymer plant, signifying a crucial step toward attaining its maximum design capacity for BOPET film production, which stands at an impressive 72 thousand tons per year. This achievement underscores the plant's commitment to expanding its production capabilities and meeting the growing demand for BOPET films across diverse industries.

The entire process of BOPET film production at Titan-Polymer is meticulously automated, contributing to operational efficiency and ensuring product consistency. BOPET films, known for their versatility and durability, find extensive applications in sectors such as the food industry, medicine, and electrical engineering. Notably, these films exhibit resilience to mechanical stress and low temperatures, enhancing their suitability for a wide range of applications.

Leading up to the launch of the second production line, the plant's specialists undertook a thorough preparatory phase, meticulously examining the functionality of each unit and scrutinizing equipment parameters at every technological stage. This rigorous pre-launch evaluation aims to guarantee the seamless integration of the new line into the existing production infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.

The diversified demand for BOPET films, ranging in thickness from 8 to 35 microns, underscores their importance in various industries. With a stable production process and an augmented capacity, Titan-Polymer is poised to cater to this demand effectively, contributing to the availability of high-quality BOPET films for diverse industrial applications.

In a broader industry context, the surge in BOPET film production aligns with the overall growth trajectory observed in the sector. Notably, R&P Polyplastic, a key player in the industry, reported a substantial increase in production volumes, registering a 1.4 times rise at the conclusion of 2023 compared to the preceding year. Concurrently, sales figures for the same period exhibited a commendable uptick, rising by 1.3 times compared to the corresponding period in 2022. This industry-wide expansion signifies the resilience and adaptability of companies in meeting market demands and capitalizing on emerging opportunities.

As Titan-Polymer continues to enhance its BOPET film production capabilities, it not only contributes to the economic development of the Moglino special economic zone but also strengthens its position in the market as a reliable and innovative player. The successful completion of the second production line positions Titan-Polymer for sustained growth and underscores its dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the dynamic landscape of BOPET film manufacturing.
