Samsung E&A Secures $1.7 Billion EPC Contract for UAE Methanol Plant

Samsung E&A, a global energy solutions provider, has announced that it has secured the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the TA’ZIZ Methanol Project in the Ruwais Industrial Complex, UAE. According to the company’s public disclosure, the contract is valued at $1.7 billion and is expected to span forty-four months. The project will involve constructing a methanol plant with a production capacity of 1.8 million tons per annum, a key addition to the TA’ZIZ chemicals and transition fuels ecosystem.
