ECKART, a global leader in the effect pigment market headquartered in Germany, has formed a joint venture with Runaya, an India-based pioneer in sustainable manufacturing with partnerships across high-tech product portfolios. Together, they are establishing a cutting-edge facility in Orissa to produce some of the most sustainable spherical atomized aluminium granules, a product experiencing significant demand growth both in India and globally. These granules cater to advanced applications in aerospace, solar panels, and premium effect pigments.

The facility will primarily utilize recycled aluminium and renewable energy, emphasizing environmentally friendly production processes. Runaya and ECKART have also entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to produce high-quality aluminium pigments, strengthening their collaboration in sustainable aluminium-based products.
