PURE's Antimicrobial Technology -

PURE's patented silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) technology works by targeting microorganisms in two ways:

1. Deactivating membrane proteins: The silver ions in SDC disrupt the structural and metabolic membrane proteins of microorganisms, leading to their death.

2. Penetrating and destroying DNA: Microbes mistake SDC as a food source, allowing the silver ions to enter the organism. Once inside, the silver ions denature the DNA, preventing the microbe from replicating and ultimately causing its death.

Advantages of SDC:

• Long shelf life: SDC has a shelf life of several years, ensuring its effectiveness over time.

• Broad-spectrum efficacy: SDC is effective against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

• Reduced toxicity: SDC is non-toxic and safe for use in food processing environments.

PURE Bioscience is a biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing antimicrobial products for food safety applications. Their technology platform is based on patented, stabilized ionic silver, and their initial products contain silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC). PURE's mission is to provide innovative solutions to combat the health and environmental challenges posed by pathogens.

Founded in 1947, Madison Chemical provides specialty cleaning and sanitation solutions for the food processing industry. It is committed to developing custom products that meet the specific needs of their customers while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
