Pavilion Energy has achieved a significant milestone with the successful initiation of the maiden Ship-to-Ship (STS) LNG bunkering operation utilizing its newly commissioned LNG Bunker Vessel, Brassavola. The operation involved the delivery of 1970 metric tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the Mount Api, a dual-fuelled bulk carrier chartered by Rio Tinto. This accomplishment closely follows the recent acquisition of Brassavola by Pavilion Energy, with the vessel being handed over just two weeks prior.

The Brassavola, a state-of-the-art vessel constructed in Singapore, stands out as the nation's first Membrane LNG Bunker Vessel. With its dual-fuel engines, this innovative vessel offers superior loading and bunkering capabilities, boasting an impressive rate of up to 2,000 cubic meters per hour. Pavilion Energy has chartered the Brassavola for the specific purpose of providing LNG bunkering services within the Port of Singapore.

Pavilion Energy's strategic deployment of the Brassavola for LNG bunkering operations aligns with the company's active involvement in fostering Singapore's evolving LNG bunkering ecosystem. Having secured its LNG Bunker Supplier License in 2016, Pavilion Energy has been consistently contributing to the growth of this vital sector. Notably, the company has successfully bunkered more than 280 truckloads of LNG to date, maintaining an impeccable safety record.

The latest Ship-to-Ship bunkering operation marks Pavilion Energy's commitment to advancing sustainable LNG solutions in the maritime industry. The Port of Singapore, a crucial hub for maritime activities, serves as the backdrop for Pavilion Energy's endeavors to facilitate efficient and environmentally friendly bunkering services. The utilization of the Brassavola underscores Pavilion Energy's dedication to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in LNG bunkering.

This achievement is part of Pavilion Energy's broader efforts to expand its LNG bunkering operations globally. Notably, the company conducted its inaugural STS LNG bunkering operation in China in August of the previous year, providing LNG to a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) powered by LNG. This marked Pavilion Energy's first venture into offering LNG bunkering solutions outside of Singapore, signifying its commitment to contributing to the development of sustainable energy solutions on an international scale.

Pavilion Energy's successful STS LNG bunkering operation with the Brassavola represents a pivotal moment in the company's journey towards advancing LNG bunkering capabilities. The utilization of cutting-edge technology, coupled with a commitment to safety and sustainability, positions Pavilion Energy as a key player in shaping the future of LNG bunkering. The strategic deployment of the Brassavola underscores Pavilion Energy's dedication to providing efficient and environmentally responsible LNG bunkering services, not only within Singapore but also on a global scale.
