MAIRE has announced that NEXTCHEM, a division specializing in Sustainable Technology Solutions, through its subsidiary Stamicarbon, has been chosen by Linggu Chemical Co. Ltd. to enhance the energy efficiency of an existing urea plant in China. Linggu Chemical, a prominent Chinese producer of agricultural chemicals, operates the plant with a capacity of 3,100 metric tons per day. NEXTCHEM will provide the licensing and process design package needed for this upgrade. This project highlights NEXTCHEM's commitment to advancing energy-efficient technologies and supports Linggu Chemical’s efforts to optimize production processes and reduce operational costs, contributing to a more sustainable and efficient industrial operation.

The Advanced MP Flash Design technology, a key component of the EVOLVE Energy™ series, significantly enhances plant efficiency by reducing steam usage and optimizing feedstock utilization. This proprietary technology can lower overall energy consumption by up to 20%, enabling the plant to achieve substantial energy savings without the need for additional high-pressure equipment. By implementing this advanced technology, facilities can improve their energy performance and operational efficiency, aligning with sustainability goals and reducing operational costs.

Alessandro Bernini, CEO of MAIRE, highlighted that the project significantly strengthens the company's technological presence in China, a key market for advanced industrial solutions. He underscored that this initiative reaffirms MAIRE's role as a global leader in developing innovative technologies that address environmental challenges. By focusing on reducing the carbon footprint of the fertilizer industry, MAIRE demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and its strategic objective of advancing eco-friendly solutions. The project not only showcases MAIRE's expertise but also aligns with its broader goal of leading the transition to more sustainable industrial practices on a global scale.

In summary, NEXTCHEM’s subsidiary, Stamicarbon, is set to upgrade an existing urea plant, utilizing its advanced proprietary technology to achieve up to a 20% reduction in energy consumption. This innovative solution underscores NEXTCHEM’s ongoing recognition in China for its cutting-edge technologies and effective plant upgrade solutions. By leveraging such state-of-the-art technology, NEXTCHEM not only enhances the energy efficiency of existing facilities but also supports clients in the agriculture sector in maintaining their competitive edge. This commitment to advancing technology and optimizing operations reinforces NEXTCHEM’s role as a leader in providing sustainable and efficient industrial solutions.
