In a significant leap towards decarbonizing the aviation sector, XCF Global Capital, Inc. announced the commencement of commercial production of neat Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) at its subsidiary, New Rise Renewables on February 24. This milestone is accompanied by a substantial first order, solidifying New Rise’s position as a key player in the burgeoning SAF market.

The company revealed it has secured an irrevocable corporate purchase order (ICPO) for the sale of over 3 million gallons of neat SAF to an unaffiliated third-party buyer. Production is underway, and the initial shipments are slated for February 2025, with deliveries expected to commence in early March.

Mihir Dange, Chief Executive Officer of XCF, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Reaching commercial production at New Rise is an exciting milestone, reflecting years of dedication, engineering excellence, and our commitment to innovation. We are proud to begin customer deliveries and provide high-quality SAF that supports the decarbonization of the aviation industry.”

This achievement marks a pivotal moment for XCF, signaling the transition from development and engineering to commercial operations. The successful launch of commercial production at New Rise validates years of dedicated effort and underscores the company's commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions.

The aviation industry, facing increasing pressure to reduce its carbon footprint, is actively seeking sustainable alternatives to traditional jet fuel. SAF, produced from renewable feedstocks, offers a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional jet fuel. The demand for SAF is rapidly growing as airlines and regulatory bodies worldwide strive to meet ambitious emissions targets.

XCF’s achievement with New Rise represents a crucial step in scaling up SAF production to meet this escalating demand. By initiating commercial operations, XCF is not only contributing to the environmental sustainability of the aviation sector but also positioning itself as a leader in the global transition to clean energy.

The company’s strategy involves developing and operating state-of-the-art SAF production facilities that adhere to the highest standards of compliance, reliability, and quality. XCF is actively forging partnerships across the energy and transportation sectors to accelerate the widespread adoption of SAF. This collaborative approach is essential for building a robust and sustainable SAF supply chain.

New Rise’s successful launch is expected to pave the way for further expansion and increased production capacity in the future. XCF’s focus on engineering excellence and operational efficiency is crucial for ensuring the long-term viability and success of its SAF production initiatives.
