KBR's Green Ammonia Technology Chosen by OCIOR Energy for Indian Project

On July 1st, 2024, KBR (NYSE: KBR) revealed that OCIOR Energy has chosen its green ammonia technology, K-GreeN®, for a facility situated in the Gopalpur region of Odisha, India. This marks KBR's 10th globally licensed green ammonia plant and the inaugural installation in India.

As per the agreement, KBR will supply OCIOR with a technology license, proprietary engineering design, equipment, and catalyst solutions for a green ammonia facility capable of producing 600 metric tons per day. Furthermore, KBR will support OCIOR in optimizing the plant's levelized cost of ammonia production.
