GreenGasUSA and Wayne-Sanderson Farms have unveiled a partnership to produce renewable natural gas (RNG) at several Wayne-Sanderson Farms facilities across the United States. By utilizing existing wastewater treatment and biogas infrastructure, the collaboration aims to deliver pipeline-quality RNG to the market. The two companies will also explore and develop additional RNG production sites at other poultry processing facilities within the Wayne-Sanderson Farms network, focusing on locations that offer significant potential to reduce methane emissions and accommodate liquid CO2 recovery systems.

Marc Fetten, CEO and Founder of GreenGasUSA, highlighted the synergy of the collaboration: “Wayne-Sanderson Farms has demonstrated leadership in waste reduction and circularity within their operations. Integrating their innovative strategies with GreenGasUSA’s RNG expertise will maximize RNG production and enhance on-site environmental benefits, including further reductions in Scope 1 emissions within Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ carbon footprint.
