Graphano Energy Ltd. (TSXV: GEL) (OTCQB: GELEF) (FSE: 97G0), also known as Graphano, is excited to announce the staking of 20 new mining claims on the western portion of its wholly owned Lac-Aux-Bouleaux ("LAB") project.

Luisa Moreno, CEO of the company, commented, "We are delighted to expand our LAB claims, which greatly boosts our exploration opportunities in the region. LAB, known for its historical graphite mine and proximity to the operational Lac-des-Iles mine, remains the sole graphite-producing area in North America. Encouraging exploration outcomes at the LAB project further solidify our dedication to expanding our presence in this pivotal region."

The newly acquired claims significantly increase the size of the LAB project. Initially, LAB comprised 16 units covering 840.71 hectares. With the inclusion of 20 additional claims spanning 1,187.13 hectares, the total area now encompasses 36 claims spanning over 2,028 hectares. The geological characteristics align closely with those of the original LAB project and the nearby Lac des Iles mine. However, the newly acquired area largely remains untapped and offers substantial exploration potential.

Graphite is a carbon mineral characterized by a layered structure. It features hexagonal rings where six carbon atoms are arranged in widely spaced horizontal sheets. Graphite typically appears dark grey to black, with an opaque and very soft texture, measuring 1?1/2 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Graphite originates from the metamorphism of sediments that contain carbon-rich materials. It is found in the form of extensive masses or veins within older crystalline rocks such as gneiss, schist, quartzite, and marble. Additionally, graphite can be located in granites, pegmatites, and carbonaceous clay shales.

Graphano Energy Ltd. is dedicated to exploring and advancing energy metals resources from initial assessment through to production. Focusing on graphite, a crucial mineral for advancing towards a green and sustainable future, the company operates the Lac Aux Bouleaux property in Quebec, Canada. Positioned near Canada’s sole active graphite mine, this region has historically been significant for natural graphite production. As demand for graphite surges across leading-edge industries like lithium batteries for electric vehicles and other energy storage technologies, Graphano Energy is actively developing its project to meet future demands.

Graphano Energy Ltd. specializes in assessing, acquiring, and advancing graphite resources, aiming to bring them from exploration through to production. Graphite, a highly sought-after mineral for advancing green and sustainable technologies, plays a crucial role in industries like lithium batteries for electric vehicles and robotics. Graphano utilizes cutting-edge, environmentally sustainable mining technologies at our property located in Quebec, Canada, historically known for its abundant graphite deposits.
