Ireland [Europe]: Enva, an innovative recycling company, has made a major investment in their facility in Greenogue, Dublin by commencing construction of a first-of-its-kind fertiliser manufacturing plant. The facility will create agricultural fertiliser pellets with Ammonium Sulphate (AMS) produced from industrial liquid waste. This €5 million investment is expected to revolutionize the way fertilizer is made and used around the world. It also shows Enva’s commitment to creating sustainable solutions that benefit our environment and society.

Once the facility begins operations this year, it is estimated to be capable of producing approximately 4,500 tonnes of fertiliser pellets annually. These pellets can be used in agricultural, horticultural and greenkeeping projects, and are said to have much less of an environmental footprint compared to those produced by virgin resources.

Roger McDermott, Managing Director of Enva Ireland, announced a new project with an aim to create a unique and innovative recovery process that adheres to their circular economy objectives. The project seeks to replace virgin materials and resources with more sustainable secondary sources.

"In doing so we will unlock a range of environmental benefits and help Ireland in becoming increasingly self-sufficient with regards to fertiliser.”

Titan Salt, a Netherlands-based specialist in the design and construction of mineral salt production facilities, is leading an international technology partnership project. The project will involve fabrication, installation and commissioning of mineral salt production facilities.
