Chevron Lummus Global and Hongrun Petrochemical Unveil the World's Largest All-Hydroprocessing White Oil Unit

Chevron Lummus Global LLC (CLG) has marked a significant milestone with the successful commencement of operations for the world's largest white oil hydroprocessing unit at Hongrun Petrochemical (Weifang) Co., Ltd., situated in Weifang, Shandong Province, China.

This cutting-edge facility stands as a testament to technological prowess, incorporating CLG’s state-of-the-art ISODEWAXING and ISOFINISHING technologies. The expansive complex encompasses two units: a 500,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) API Group III lubricating base oil unit, designed to produce industrial-grade white oil, and a 200,000 MTPA food-grade white oil unit.
