Verity Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Gevo, has announced a strategic partnership with Minnesota Soybean Processors (MnSP) to implement its proprietary track-and-trace software solution. This collaboration is set to enhance the verification of sustainable agricultural practices and unlock added value in international markets through export premiums.
The partnership will integrate Verity’s advanced data management platform into MnSP’s operations, allowing for streamlined compliance reporting and improved audit capabilities. The software is designed to document and validate key sustainability attributes throughout the supply chain—from the farm to the final product.
“This partnership with MnSP is a strong example of how our technology enables producers to realize the full potential of sustainable agriculture,” said Kimberly Bowron, President of Verity Holdings. “By utilizing our tools for data verification and supply chain transparency, MnSP can confidently demonstrate the sustainable origins of their soybeans. This not only adds value for growers and processors but also enhances trust among international buyers who are demanding environmentally responsible products.”
Both Verity and MnSP share a long-term vision of expanding market opportunities through sustainability certification and traceability. The collaboration focuses on showcasing soybeans grown using regenerative agricultural practices, which are gaining increased attention from global markets for their environmental and economic benefits.
With the implementation of Verity’s system, MnSP will be well-positioned to meet the growing demand for sustainably certified agricultural products, while also simplifying regulatory compliance and audit processes.
Minnesota Soybean Processors, established in 2003, operates a large-scale soy processing facility in Brewster, Minnesota. The facility processes over 100,000 bushels of soybeans per day and includes a refinery that produces feedstock for edible oils and biofuels from crude soybean oil. Additionally, MnSP runs a 41-million-gallon-per-year biodiesel production plant that has been in continuous operation for two decades.
This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening sustainability in the U.S. soybean supply chain and creating new value opportunities for all stakeholders involved. Both companies view this agreement as the beginning of a broader effort to integrate full traceability into agricultural supply chains, supporting both environmental goals and economic incentives for farmers and processors alike.
With growing consumer and regulatory demand for transparent and sustainable sourcing, Verity and MnSP’s partnership is a forward-looking initiative that positions U.S. soy products for greater global competitiveness.
