Troy Minerals Inc. has successfully completed a LiDAR survey at its Table Mountain Silica Project, located near Golden, British Columbia. The high-resolution LiDAR survey covered roughly 1.3 square kilometers of the primary target area, where prior sampling has shown promising potential for high-purity silica mineralization. The detailed topographic data obtained will play a crucial role in the ongoing geological analysis and future resource modeling of the project.
In addition to the LiDAR survey, the company has submitted 201 quartzite silica samples to ALS Geochemistry in North Vancouver, B.C. The extensive sampling program includes 131 grab samples collected across the property and 70 channel samples taken from a continuous 67.12-meter section spread over five channels within the LiDAR survey area. These samples will be analyzed to further assess the silica quality, and Troy Minerals plans to release a detailed report on the results once all assay data has been received and compiled.
Rana Vig, CEO and Director of Troy Minerals, commented on the significance of these developments, stating, "The combination of high-resolution LiDAR surveying and an extensive sampling program marks a key milestone in evaluating Table Mountain's potential. With more than 200 samples at the lab and the topographic mapping of our primary target zone now completed, we are establishing a strong technical foundation to guide our strategic plans. The project's location near existing silica operations and infrastructure further enhances its strategic value, reinforcing our position as we aim to become a major player in the North American high-purity silica market."
These activities underscore the company's commitment to advancing the Table Mountain Silica Project, with an emphasis on building a comprehensive understanding of the site's potential for high-purity silica production. The results from this latest work are expected to help shape Troy Minerals' future exploration and development efforts, as it seeks to capitalize on the growing demand for high-quality silica in various industries.
The Table Mountain Silica Project spans 1,698 hectares, located just 4 kilometers east of Golden, B.C., offering excellent year-round access and proximity to the Canadian Pacific Railway's Golden Rail Yard. The property encompasses up to 10 kilometers of the regionally mapped strike length of the Mount Wilson Formation, with surface widths varying from 300 to 1,400 meters. Strategically located near the Moberly Silica Mine and the Sinova Quartz silica quarry, both of which produce economic-grade silica with over 99.6% SiO2 purity, the project holds significant potential.
Troy Minerals is a publicly listed Canadian mining company dedicated to creating shareholder value through the acquisition, exploration, and development of strategically positioned "critical" mineral assets. The company is actively advancing projects in the silica (silicon), vanadium, and rare earths sectors, focusing on regions with strong and increasing demand for these commodities in both North America and Central-East Asia. Troy's main goal is to achieve near-term production, with the vision of becoming a cash-flowing mining company that generates substantial financial value for shareholders, as well as benefiting local communities and the state.
