TRANSTEX, a leader in clean technology solutions for the transportation sector, has introduced the DClimate Lithium Pro, an advanced lithium-ion-powered electric Auxiliary Power Unit (eAPU) designed to enhance reliability, extend runtime, and lower emissions for commercial fleets. This latest innovation stems from TRANSTEX’s acquisition of DClimate in June 2024, which bolstered its research and development capabilities. Under TRANSTEX’s leadership, DClimate continues to develop cutting-edge power solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern fleets.

At the heart of this groundbreaking system is a durable LiFePO4 battery pack, integrated with four starting batteries in a hybrid configuration. This setup ensures maximum efficiency, reliability, and long-term cost savings for fleets.

• Lower Total Cost of Ownership – Designed with a 10-year system life, increased residual value, and minimal maintenance needs, the system significantly reduces replacement and service expenses.

• Extended Runtime & Reduced Idling – By delivering 15% more available energy per cycle, the unit supports full hotel loads without requiring engine idling, improving efficiency and sustainability.

• Bidirectional Charging – The eAPU can transfer charge between lithium-ion and starting batteries while supporting wet-cell and AGM batteries, extending battery life and virtually eliminating the need for roadside jump starts.

• xLighter & More Efficient – With a 150 lb weight reduction, the system enhances fuel efficiency and increases payload capacity for optimized operations.
