Titan Group has initiated the construction of its forthcoming olefins production and processing complex, marking a significant milestone with the driving of the first pile. The upcoming facility is strategically situated on Titan Group's territory, officially registered within the industrial park of the Omsk region.

This advanced complex is meticulously planned for the efficient processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, producing a range of essential outputs including ethylene, propylene, butylene-divinyl fraction, pyrocondensate, and various processed products such as butadiene, benzene, ethylene glycols, polyethylene, propylene oxide, propylene glycols, and polyether polyols. Notably, the company has chosen to maintain confidentiality regarding specific details such as production capacity, implementation timelines, and the overall investment amount.

An insightful clue to the anticipated scale of the ethylene unit lies in its working name, EP-600, suggesting a potential capacity of 600 thousand tons. While financial details remain undisclosed, it has been confirmed that the project is financially supported with resources from VEB.RF.

A noteworthy development in this endeavor is Titan Group's collaboration with China's Wison Engineering, which was announced two weeks prior for the construction of the EP-600 pyrolysis unit. This collaboration underlines Titan Group's commitment to leveraging international expertise in the realization of its ambitious project. The initiation of the complex's design phase was officially declared by Titan Group in January of the current year.

In earlier reports, it was disclosed that Titan Group had entered into a cooperation agreement with Wison Engineering Ltd, a Chinese entity within the Wison Group. The agreement focuses on the establishment of a new EP-600 pyrolysis unit, emphasizing subsequent deep processing of the unit's products.

The decision to build this cutting-edge olefins production and processing complex underscores Titan Group's strategic vision for expansion and diversification within the petrochemical industry. By strategically locating the facility in the Omsk region, Titan Group aligns with its broader objective of contributing to regional industrial development.

The choice of Wison Engineering as a key partner for constructing the EP-600 pyrolysis unit further signifies Titan Group's commitment to collaborating with industry leaders possessing the technical prowess necessary for the successful execution of this complex project.

While Titan Group maintains a degree of secrecy surrounding specific details, this move into olefins production represents a bold step forward for the company. The olefins complex holds the promise of contributing significantly to the region's industrial landscape and positioning Titan Group as a key player in the petrochemical sector.

Titan Group's initiation of the olefins production and processing complex construction heralds a new era for the company and the Omsk region. The strategic collaboration with Wison Engineering and the deliberate confidentiality surrounding certain project aspects indicate a carefully planned and executed expansion into the intricate world of hydrocarbon processing, reinforcing Titan Group's status as an emerging force in the petrochemical industry.
