To cater with growing domestic epichlorohydrin demand, TechnipFMC has signed its first EPICEROL® Technology License Agreement with Meghmani Finechem Ltd (MFL) in India. The plant with 50 KTPA capacity will use glycerin as feedstock to produce epichlorohydrin. Based on renewable glycerol feedstocks, EPICEROL is one of the most sustainable ECH technologies with a reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional propylene-based processes.
