Stelar Metals has announced the discovery of a third parallel copper-bearing gossan at its Baratta Copper Project in South Australia, as confirmed by the latest batch of rock chip assays. This new gossan is located to the east of the project area, which lies within the Adelaide Rift Complex. This region is considered highly prospective for sediment-hosted copper mineralization, comparable to the Central African Copper Belt, the world's second-largest copper-producing region after Chile’s extensive porphyry deposits.

The Baratta Copper Project has now been mapped and sampled over a 3.6 km strike length, which remains open in both directions, indicating the potential for further discoveries. Stelar Metals emphasizes that each new gossan discovery significantly enhances the economic potential of the project, suggesting that the area could host substantial copper resources.

In addition to identifying the new gossan, the company has conducted infill rock chip sampling across the project. These samples have confirmed the consistency of high copper grades along the strike of the stacked gossans. Notably, assays returned copper grades as high as 22%, with 27% of the samples exceeding 10% copper and 69% showing more than 5% copper. These results underscore the rich copper content of the Baratta Project and reinforce its potential as a significant copper resource.

Ongoing exploration at Baratta will include further geological mapping and sampling, as well as geophysical re-processing and petrological analysis of sulphide-bearing breccias from waste material found at the site. The petrological analysis is currently being conducted by Microanalysis in Perth, with the aim of better understanding the mineralogical composition and potential economic value of the copper deposits.

Stelar Metals' continued exploration efforts at Baratta reflect its commitment to unlocking the full potential of this promising project. The identification of multiple high-grade copper-bearing gossans bodes well for the future of the project, positioning it as a potentially significant contributor to the global copper supply. As exploration progresses, the company is optimistic about the possibility of expanding the known copper resources and advancing Baratta towards a commercially viable mining operation.

Stelar Metals' experienced and accomplished exploration and development team is focused on discovering and producing critical minerals, driven by the growing global demand to achieve net zero emissions. The Trident Lithium Project is strategically positioned near mining, industrial, transport, and green energy infrastructure in Broken Hill, NSW. This project spans a 20 km strike length of the Euriowie Tin Pegmatite Field and holds significant potential for hard rock lithium mineralization. Stelar's Baratta Copper Project in South Australia is also located within the Adelaidean rocks of the Flinders Ranges. This project is considered highly promising for sediment-hosted copper mineralization, similar to that found in the Central African Copper Belt.
