MOSCOW: Sibur, a Russian petrochemical company, has announced plans to construct a new Polypropylene plant at its Tobolsk site. With an annual production capacity of 570,000 tons, the Tobolsk-Polymer complex is already one of the world's largest producers of Polypropylene. The new facility will further expand Sibur's production capabilities and contribute to the modernization of Russia's petrochemical industry. The cost of the project has not been disclosed, but it is expected to create jobs in the region. The construction of the plant is part of Sibur's larger plan to increase production and innovate in the field of petrochemicals.

Russian petrochemical company Sibur's subsidiary, Tobolsk-Polymer, located at the world's largest Tobolsk petrochemical complex, has successfully restarted its Polypropylene production plant in Tobolsk. The facility has an annual production capacity of 510,000 tons of Polypropylene and is one of the largest such complexes in the world. The plant had recently completed the final stage of equipment testing and is now fully operational. Sibur also plans to build a new Polypropylene plant on the same site in Tobolsk.

Sibur, a major petrochemical company, has announced plans to upgrade its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit at the Tobolsk petrochemical complex in Russia.
