Shell Ramps Up Production of Alumina Powder with Expansion of its Louisiana Plant

With a new plant coming onstream, Shell Catalysts and Technology (SC&T) has legitimately commenced the expansion of its plant in Louisiana, Allen Port, enlarging the capacity for production of precipitated Alumina powder. Port Allen Precipitated Alumina (PAPA) plant expansion project also includes modifications in equipment’s for sustaining better processing output. The newly designed equipment’s will be equipped with energy efficient alternatives to provide ease in fixed and variable production costs. The latest expansion at PAPA plant is anticipated to come out as a supreme source for power to several other plants located in the nearby areas.
