PSA Singapore (PSA) celebrated a milestone on October 18 at the groundbreaking of its new state-of-the-art supply chain hub at Tuas Port. This hub, called the PSA Supply Chain Hub (PSCH), is scheduled for completion in 2027. This facility promises to revolutionize Singapore's logistics and supply chain landscape. PSA is a top Singapore based transhipment company that facilitates container movements across the world.

Strategically located next to Tuas Port within the Free Trade Zone, the PSCH will boast seamless integration with Singapore's existing supply chain network. This integration, coupled with its vast scale, positions the hub as a premier distribution centre and container freight station.

The PSCH will offer a comprehensive suite of value-added services like cold storage, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and advanced cargo handling facilities. These combined with the hub's focus on sustainability through eco-friendly practices, aim to solidify Singapore's position as a global logistics powerhouse.

PSA emphasizes the hub's role in enhancing efficiency and reliability within its global network. The PSCH is a key component of PSA's "Node to Network" strategy, which aims to connect strategic locations and create a cohesive supply chain ecosystem.

"The PSCH is strategically positioned to create exceptional synergy with Tuas Port," said Peter Voser, Group Chairman of PSA International. "This new hub will not only support Singapore's trade and logistics sector but also the wider Southeast Asia region."

"Rapidly evolving global trade patterns require us to rethink our business strategy," said Mr Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO of PSA International. "With the PSCH on board, our collective strength and synergy will enable PSA to harness the full potential of our combined network."

The PSCH builds upon PSA's existing experience in port adjacencies, including the management of PSA Keppel DistriPark. Operations at Keppel DistriPark, along with city terminals at Tanjong Pagar, Keppel, and Brani, will be consolidated at Tuas Port by 2027.

Key features of the PSA Supply Chain Hub at Tuas Port:

• Cold Room: Ideal for temperature-sensitive cargo, ensuring quality and integrity of cold chain logistics.

Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS): Efficiently manages vertical and horizontal transport of pallets, maximizing throughput and accuracy.

Container Freight Station (CFS) Warehouse: Streamlines cargo consolidation and deconsolidation, enabling fast handling and containerization.

Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) Operations: Equipped with automated sorting and robotic picking solutions, optimized for high-volume distribution.

Dangerous Goods (DG) Warehouse Operations: Meticulously designed for safe handling of hazardous cargoes, adhering to strict regulatory standards.

PSA Intelligent Warehouse Exchange (iWX): Provides a one-stop platform for real-time data exchange between warehouses and depots, improving productivity and visibility.
