PPG has entered into a strategic partnership with SARO/Siccardi, Italy's leading distributor of powder coatings. This collaboration aims to enhance PPG's distribution network in Italy, providing broader access to high-quality products and services for customers in the region. According to Gianfranco Corvi, PPG's Market Manager for Italy in Industrial Coatings, the partnership with SARO/Siccardi, a customer-centric and respected market leader, will accelerate PPG's growth in the powder coatings sector. The partnership will combine PPG’s expertise in powder coating technologies with SARO/Siccardi’s deep market knowledge and strong presence, ensuring customers benefit from superior product protection and an efficient purchasing process.

Through this collaboration, PPG and SARO/Siccardi will engage closely with customers to better understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions, technical support, and competitive pricing. Justin Epler, PPG's General Manager for Industrial Coatings in EMEA, emphasized that this partnership will help meet the growing demand for powder coatings. With PPG's advanced technology and SARO/Siccardi's expansive distribution network, customers in Italy will gain faster access to a more diverse range of high-quality products and solutions.

Roberto Siccardi, General Manager of SARO/Siccardi, noted that access to PPG's warehouses, laboratories, and production facilities in Italy will further enhance customer service and improve response times. Since 2019, PPG has been focused on expanding its powder coating business through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and investments in R&D and production capacity. These efforts are aimed at meeting the increasing demand for sustainable manufacturing solutions.

Powder coatings are an environmentally friendly option, as they are typically free from solvents that release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and any overspray can be reclaimed and reused. This technology is a key component of PPG’s commitment to sustainability, with the company aiming to generate 50% of its sales from sustainably advantaged products and processes by 2030. This partnership with SARO/Siccardi is another step in PPG's broader strategy to strengthen its position in the sustainable coatings market.

Founded in 1975, SARO/Siccardi operated under the Siccardi name until 1986. Now recognized as SARO/Siccardi, the company has become Italy's leading distributor of powder coatings and related products. It has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality products and outstanding customer service.

For over 140 years, PPG has been committed to developing and delivering trusted paints, coatings, and specialty materials. Through innovation and dedication, PPG tackles customers' most significant challenges, working closely with them to identify the best solutions. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PPG operates in more than 70 countries and reported net sales of $18.2 billion in 2023. The company serves a wide range of industries, including construction, consumer products, industrial, transportation, and aftermarket markets.
