Pachpadra Refinery on Road to Development, Announces Completion of Design Work Worth INR 46540 Million

As announced by the Chief Secretary of Mines and Petroleum Refinery on Friday, basic design work worth INR 46540 Million has been completed at Pachpadra Refinery which is the dream project of Rajasthan government.

According to the official, considerate efforts are being made to complete the project chores latest by October 2022 and to begin with the commercial production by March 2023.

The joint venture under the name of HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited is owned by the Rajasthan government and HPCL. The vision of the board is to construct a refinery and an integrated complex to manufacture the products of BS-6 standard. As per the official, total of nine refineries and four petrochemicals are a part of this project.

Basic design work completed till now includes, a reservoir of 20950 cubic metres and a survey for laying natural gas, water pipeline and Barmer crude oil pipeline. Underlining the significance of the project CMD of HRRL recalled it as one of the biggest industrial projects of the country.
