Leeuwin Metals Ltd. has announced the completion of its initial rock chip sampling program at the West Pilbara Iron Ore Project in Western Australia, with results available for analysis. The West Pilbara Iron Ore Project has uncovered highly promising iron ore targets, showing exceptional iron ore grades of over 50% Fe across a 1.7 km strike length. These targets were identified through advanced satellite imagery and detailed regional mapping. The mineralization continues along the strike and is not yet fully delineated, indicating significant potential for further discovery. Follow-up field work is set to commence in the coming weeks to conduct a more detailed assessment and exploration of this promising resource.

The Project area is highly prospective for Channel Iron Deposits (CID), featuring several key target zones within its scope. These targets are strategically located near the North-West Coastal Highway, with superb infrastructure support—150 km southwest of Ashburton Port (Onslow) and 380 km northeast of the Port of Port Hedland, both accessible via sealed highways. Additionally, the area is situated close to major mining operations, including Rio Tinto’s Mesa A mine, CZR Resources' Robe Mesa project, and Macro Metals' Deepdale project.

Exploration activities are currently focused on prospective buried Channel Iron Deposit (CID) targets within the BBQ Valley trend, characterized by an overlying transported cover. Initial field work suggests the potential for both sub-cropping and outcropping CID mineralization. These promising findings designate the BBQ Valley trend as a priority for further investigation. Follow-up work will include detailed mapping, sampling, and geophysical surveys to better define mineralization. The mineralization observed consists of fine to coarse conglomerate with iron-rich detrital material, predominantly goethite-dominated pisolites, and is cemented by iron oxides, showing varying degrees of weathering and alteration.

Leeuwin Metals Ltd is a mineral exploration company with a strategic focus on high-potential nickel, copper, PGE, lithium, and iron ore projects in Canada and Western Australia. The company's experienced team possesses a deep-rooted track record in project identification, discovery, development, operational execution, and strategic transactions. The West Pilbara Iron Ore Project is highly prospective for Channel Iron Deposit (CID) mineralization in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Sampling has revealed iron grades reaching up to 55% Fe.

The Cross Lake Lithium Project, located within the Cross Lake greenstone belt, exhibits substantial promise for hosting LCT-type pegmatites, further diversifying the company's exploration portfolio. Previous drilling has encountered spodumene-bearing pegmatites with grades exceeding 1% Li2O. Furthermore, the William Lake Nickel Project features high-grade nickel, copper, and PGE (platinum group elements) mineralization within sulfides, located in the Thompson Nickel Belt, a region known for its prolific nickel mining operations.
