Emerson, a leading entity headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, has emerged as the chosen partner for SungEel HiTech Co., Ltd., a prominent player in the field of lithium-ion battery recycling based in Korea. SungEel HiTech operates an extensive battery recycling ecosystem across nine global locations, exemplified by a recycling park dedicated to collection and pretreatment. The company also boasts a hydrometallurgical battery material production facility located at the Gunsan Hydro Center.

ChenFai Chung, Vice President and General Manager for Emerson in North Asia, acknowledged the escalating importance of automation solutions in the rapidly expanding battery recycling market.
