Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid plant of Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited has been non-operational for about 4 months as the company’s LABSA business started showing signs of significant distress affecting the company’s profit margins. Difficulty faced in mapping the demand-supply gap has forced KCFL to continue the plant shutdown with plant capacity of 50 TPD, for an unspecified period.
