On June 25, 2024, DuPont (NYSE: DD) revealed its agreement to purchase Donatelle Plastics Incorporated, a prominent contract manufacturer in the medical device sector known for designing, developing, and producing medical components and devices. The transaction is anticipated to conclude in the third quarter of 2024, pending fulfillment of standard closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

The acquisition of Donatelle Plastics Incorporated will introduce complementary advanced technologies and capabilities, spanning medical device injection molding, liquid silicone rubber processing, precision machining, device assembly, and tool manufacturing.
