China: DOMO Chemicals, a leading manufacturer of engineered materials, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new plant in Haiyan, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China. The new plant, which will manufacture Polyamide-based grades, is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of the first quarter of 2024. DOMO Chemicals invested heavily in it, totaling €14 million (100 million RMB).

Since 2016, DOMO Chemicals has had a presence in China. Jiaxing operates a virgin and environmentally friendly Nylon compounding plant. The new plant, which will be gradually expanded to a total capacity of 50 kilotonnes, will be outfitted with cutting-edge technology and equipment to meet customer demands while also supporting DOMO's innovation and sustainability goals.

The thriving economic development zone of Haiyan, Zhejiang Province, which borders South of Shanghai, is where the new plant is strategically situated. The development zone is also  home to leading  electronics, new energy, new materials and cutting-edge equipment manufacturing industries. Furthermore, the sub-district will increase efforts to establish itself as a high-level manufacturing base and future Hydrogen valley.
