Indorama Ventures has got down to business on their Olefins gas cracker by starting their operation at Indorama Ventures Olefins (IVOL) plant in Westlake, Louisiana, the USA. This cracker provides a leverage for the long-term Ethylene supply to Indorama Ventures Oxide and Glycols (IVOG) plant. To offer an efficient distribution of 440 KT of Ethylene per annum, this site of operation is integrated with the US Gulf Coast Ethylene pipeline. According to the site Director, Mr. Tony Barre, already 80 per cent of the operating rate has been achieved.
