Comet Lithium Corporation has shared the results of its initial exploration efforts at the Liberty Property in Québec. The Phase 1 program, conducted in June 2024, has provided valuable insights into the potential lithium mineralization within the property.

The fieldwork at the Liberty Property, conducted over two weeks, involved collecting and dispatching 127 rock samples to the laboratory for analysis. During the exploration, two highly prospective zones were identified: one extending along strike with Adina East and another located in the southeastern section of the Liberty Property, where additional outcrops and boulders were observed. Notably, seven anomalous samples, including both angular boulders and outcrops, returned K/Rb ratio values below 55, with five samples showing particularly low ratios under 7.5. These results underscore a strong potential for LCT pegmatites in the identified zones.

Dahrouge Geological Consulting (DGC) was engaged to perform fieldwork at the Liberty Property, with Comet’s VP of Exploration, Vincent Cardin-Tremblay, joining the team throughout the exploration process. The fieldwork, conducted in early June 2024, included helicopter reconnaissance and ground traverses, focusing on the southernmost area of the Liberty Property.

The exploration team, comprising three field crews, completed priority traverses totaling 214 kilometers. They sampled 33 outcrops and 94 boulders, recording 77 observation points. Among the samples, seven pegmatites (one outcrop and six boulders) exhibited a K/Rb ratio of ≤ 55, indicating notable mineralization. The pegmatite outcrop with the low K/Rb ratio is identified as a north-south striking dyke. The seven angular boulders with low ratios, found primarily in the southeastern section, displayed a favorable mineral assemblage, including tourmaline, muscovite, and apatite. Notably, all but one rounded boulder, located on the west side of the Liberty Property were sourced from the highly prospective southeastern portion of the property.

Vincent Metcalfe, President & CEO, remarked on the fieldwork program's success, emphasizing that it has significantly boosted confidence in the Liberty Property’s potential. The identification of the Stardust dyke and two promising areas marks key positive developments. The exploration has yielded valuable information about the property's topography, glacial landforms, and geological features. The discovery of highly anomalous boulders in the southeastern region is particularly encouraging. Metcalfe anticipates that upcoming updates from the Adina and Galinee summer programs will further demonstrate the continuity and importance of the Trieste Lithium greenstone belt, reinforcing the property's potential.

Comet Lithium is a leading exploration company focused on acquiring and developing high-potential lithium projects in the James Bay District of Quebec. The company's flagship asset is the 100%-owned Liberty Property, which is adjacent to Winsome Resources' Adina lithium deposit, a significant high-grade lithium discovery. Additionally, Comet Lithium holds the Troilus East Property, a large-scale exploration project located near Troilus Gold's Troilus deposit, a major gold-copper deposit that has recently reached feasibility.
