United States: American Resources said that it had signed an offtake deal to buy 6%+ Lithium spodumene ores from nearby active mining concessions, marking the beginning of a cooperation with South Africa. American Resources Corporation's latest deal involves acquiring 5,000 metric tonnes of Lithium spodumene ore per month in the agreement's first phase. The subsequent phase is set to witness a substantial increase in procurement, with over 20,000 metric tonnes from two Lithium mining concessions per month.

The business stated that its fully owned ReElement Technologies' patented refining and purifying techniques will be used to refine spodumene ores to better than 99.9% pure, battery-grade Lithium Carbonate or Hydroxide. Based on a 6% Lithium spodumene, the company anticipates that ReElement Technologies will produce 32,000 to 34,000 metric tonnes of high-purity Lithium carbonate annually.

American Resources and its affiliates are also working with its South African partners to choose the location of a future regional refining facility that will be situated at or adjacent to a regional port. By bringing new, cutting-edge technology and infrastructure to the area, this project will drastically lower the costs related to transporting Lithium ores and add value to the local African community, the business claimed.

It is anticipated that the facility will process Lithium spodumene ores to produce ultra-pure, battery-grade Lithium Carbonate or Hydroxide, which can then be used as a commercial grade feedstock for either regional or domestic battery production in the United States. American Resources is concentrated on the mining and processing of vital and rare earth minerals for the electricity market, reprocessed metal to be recycled, and metallurgical carbon, an essential component used in steelmaking.

With a focus on the recycling of end-of-life products like rare earth permanent magnets and Lithium-ion batteries as well as coal-based waste streams and byproducts, American Resources claimed it is redefining how critical and rare earth elements are sourced and processed through its wholly owned subsidiary, ReElement Technologies. American Resources Corporation's beginnings trace back to 2006, when its founding partners acquired and restructured a mining complex comprising of seven mines and a wash plant in Floyd County, Kentucky, with remarkable success.

Since then, management has acquired and reorganised operational complexes in the eastern United States under both favourable and difficult operating conditions by applying their operating philosophy, which focuses on safety, efficiency, cost, and quality.

The Central Appalachian basin in eastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia is home to an increasing number of operations for American Resources, including deposits of rare earth minerals and high-quality metallurgical carbon.

American Resources now manages metallurgical carbon complexes in eastern Kentucky and is commercialising its rare earth element "Capture Process Purify" technology chain through its eight asset purchases, over fifteen IP/technology acquisitions, and partnerships.  The company is carrying out its organic growth strategy and moving on with its goal of being the first to commercially extract and purify rare earth elements in the United States using the most ecologically friendly techniques thanks to several low-holding cost permits that provide it access to metallurgical carbon. Additionally, the company continually evaluates value-enhancing acquisition targets and activities that fit with American Resources' low-cost, effective, and shareholder-focused culture.
