Adani signs an MOU with Borealis AG, BASF SE and ADNOC for the collaboration to setup propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant to produce propylene using renewable sources

Adani Group signed an MOU with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Borealis AG and BASF SE for studying the feasibilty and for collaboration to establish a complex in Mundra, Gujarat. The total investment is expected to be around USD4 billion(Approx INR 28,000) Collaboration  includes a Propane dehydrogenation plant which will produce propylene and the feedstock is supplied by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. Chief feedstock would be propane and the partial feedstock would be Propylene.Plant is expected to  run on renewable energy and would be the only carbon dioxide free petrochemical site globally.
