ADAMA Ltd. (SZSE 000553), a prominent agricultural protection enterprise, has unveiled Maxentis®, a versatile new fungicide designed to effectively combat a wide array of diseases in wheat, barley, and oilseed rape, ultimately boosting crop yields and enhancing farmers' income.

Maxentis® ensures reliable control over prevalent diseases such as Septoria, Yellow Rust, and Brown Rust in wheat; Leaf Blotch, Net Blotch, and Rust in barley; and Sclerotinia and Alternaria in oilseed rape, instilling confidence in farmers while streamlining and reducing the costs of their spray programs. In regions with high potential for wheat cultivation, Maxentis® can be employed as a T1 application within a spray regimen alongside other fungicides, or as a standalone T1 or T2 broad-spectrum product in areas with lower potential. Its non-SDHI formulation renders it an excellent complement to spraying programs, granting farmers the flexibility to incorporate an SDHI combination during the crucial flag leaf stage of wheat.

By integrating two modes of action, Maxentis® amplifies its efficacy, effectively controlling fungal diseases across various growth stages and promoting healthier crops. The introduction of Maxentis® not only enhances crop yields but also simplifies farmers' routines by providing a single solution for combating multiple diseases across different crops. This versatility not only reduces complexity and costs but also translates into increased revenue for farmers.

Alex Mills, Global Head of Fungicides at ADAMA, remarks, "Farmers across Europe have voiced the need for versatile, broad-label products capable of addressing multiple crops and diseases without necessitating a complex array of products. In response, ADAMA has delivered value innovation through Maxentis®. With its dependable control over key diseases in wheat, barley, and oilseed rape, Maxentis® offers a convenient, all-in-one solution, enabling farmers to achieve higher yields with less hassle.

Maxentis® is part of ADAMA's recently launched European cereal fungicide lineup, which commenced rollout in 2023. Further launches are slated across Europe, the UK, and Ireland throughout 2024, underscoring ADAMA's commitment to providing innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of farmers.
